10 Hammersmith Grove
This project comprises 33,250 sqm of Grade A office space in the centre of Hammersmith, with large open floor plates and superb tube and bus links to Central London, Heathrow Airport and the Thames Valley beyond.
FLINT were appointed as Interior Designers and worked closely with U+I (Development Securities) and the building Architect, Flanagan Lawrence, to produce designs for the main entrance lobby, on-floor washrooms and lift lobbies.
The concept for the entrance was the creation of a plain flexible white volume, like an art gallery, which would display changing exhibits. Walls and ceiling are painted plasterboard, with recessed lighting, the floor is paved with silver travertine, and the reception desk is clad in bronze. The feature of the space is a media wall which display video artwork.
A second building, 12 Hammersmith Grove, completes the scheme, providing additional office space with restaurant/cafés at ground level spilling onto a south facing landscaped area, greatly improving the immediate neighbourhood.
Number 10 has been fully let to 4 tenants.
