The brief was to create an appropriate lifestyle setting for the young urban professional residents of this large Build to Rent development in a vibrant part of London.
FLINT designed the apartment interiors and communal areas. The ground floor residents’ area was to include amenities such as concierge, post room, meeting rooms, library, workspace and lounge. FLINT proposed a series of visible spaces with a soft industrial aesthetic. Floor to ceiling, steel framed glass doors and screens separate the main spaces – library, lounge and meeting room – which are linked enfilade. These glazed rooms are designed to maximise daylight and views and to encourage interaction between residents.
