This is a 10,000 sq ft six-bedroom single family home that occupies the site of a former public house, now demolished, in a quiet mews within the Belgravia conservation area.
FLINT were appointed as Interior Architects for the project and worked closely with Finchatton and the buildings Executive Architect (Flanagan Lawrence) from early concept stage through to completion.
Arranged on five floors, the accommodation includes a double height entrance lobby, formal dining room, two living rooms, a study, four bedrooms with separate guest accommodation, six bathrooms, a large high-spec kitchen and family room, together with butler’s pantry, maid’s quarters, utility rooms and secure garaging. The two story basement contains a private leisure complex with a cinema, wine cellar, swimming pool and gym.
The four upper floors of the house are connected by a beautiful cantilevered staircase that leads to a private roof terrace, while a simple glass stair provides access to the swimming pool and gym at the lowest basement level.
A palette of exceptionally high-quality natural materials was used throughout the house.
