100 GREENGATE EMBANKMENT

A SINUOUS DOUBLE HEIGHT GALLERY WALL MEANDERING THROUGH THE SPACE

Situated in a unique urban context at the historic centre of Salford and overlooking Manchester Cathedral and Deansgate, the interior design of the main entrance hall sought to carve out a volume that would provide a sense of arrival commensurate with the building within which it sits, activated with flexible working / meeting areas and break out spaces.

The interior spatial layout is defined by a sinuous double height gallery wall forming alcoves and lobbies as it meanders through the space. A curvilinear reception desk is positioned centrally - a spatial planning device that divides the space, filtering tenants of the building and visitors and providing a focal point of activity in the centre of space.
