FRENCH PLACE

A SENSITIVE RESTORATION OF AN EXISTING VICTORIAN WAREHOUSE AND A COMPREHENSIVE REORGANISATION OF THE BUILDING'S INTERIOR.

Set within East London's historic manufacturing district of Shoreditch, French Place sees the sensitive restoration of the existing Victorian warehouse exterior with the comprehensive reorganisation of the building's interior to provide a new landscaped entrance and arrival sequence leading to a broad compliment of tenant amenities and end of trip facilities commensurate with the Grade A workspace above.

Working with the building's historic fabric, the interior architecture and design strips away recent additions and introduces a new centrally located core within the void of an existing but under-utilised lightwell, consolidating vertical circulation and means of escape, together with washroom facilites and landlord services, thereby freeing up floorspace within the extents of the original warehouse, increasing net lettable area and creating more orthogonal plannable floorplates.
