AN IMPROVED SENSE OF ARRIVAL.

The Picture House in Ilford is a Build-to-Rent residential development by M&G Real Estate. Having acquired the site post-planning consent the brief required a reorganisation of the building's ground floor to accommodate the introduction of a broad range of resident's amenity spaces where previously there were none.

Spatial and aesthetic concepts were developed in tandem, working up proposals for the entrance and arrival space, a resident's lounge, informal residential coworking space, a fitness suite and adjoining wellness studio, post room, staff welfare facilities and concierge, creating a series of spaces that are contemporary in design, tailored to appeal to the target customer profile, and providing an improved sense of arrival into the building. FF&E selection, procurement and implementation services were also provided.
